We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, add home details, log maintenance records, or contact us. This includes your name, email address, home address, and details about your home systems and maintenance history.

We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used, solely to improve the product. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the MyHouseKeep service
• To send maintenance reminders and notifications you have requested
• To respond to your support requests
• To send you product updates (you may opt out at any time)

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. Home data, system records, and maintenance history are stored in our database and associated only with your account.

4. Email Communications

We use Resend to send transactional emails such as maintenance reminders and account confirmations. We use Twilio for optional SMS reminders. Your contact information is used only to deliver messages you have requested and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.

6. Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential communications
• Data portability — export your maintenance records at any time

7. Cookies

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

MyHouseKeep is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
